Gardening Angels...

Last week Sam and our son Alec built a garden box for my salsa garden.

Today I am planting 'Sweet Banana Peppers', 'Jalepenos', cilantro and onions.
Tomatoes are already growing in a pot close by.

Christine and Adelina joined us.

Now if they could only invent a plant that grows tortilla chips!

April 29th...GODSMACK at The PEARL

Kel Kel and I attended Godsmack's concert at The Pearl, Sunday night.
It was great to meet the boys in the band before the concert and have them sign our posters.

(Sully you are a cutie!)

After the "Meet and Greet" and before the concert we started dinner off with a Lychee Martini...I am so into Lychee anything these days...Lychee Saki rocks!

Then on to the concert...

NEW RULES:

1. No high heels when your VIP tickets say "floor"; Note:without seats.
(Thank goodness mine weren't too bad, Kel wore her gorgeous LouBoutin's, so I delivered the drinks.)
2. Loud music concerts are for the hearing impaired or persons under 50.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Eddie Vedder in the fall keeps the volume down for this ol' lady...

Great time as always Kel Kel! xxoo

Holy Scrap! Sew Much Fabric! Sew Street Market

Cheryl, Eileen and myself had a great time (and great returns) last Saturday at Quiltique's "Sew Street Market"...minus the intense heat for an April day.

Maria staying cool under her "EZ UP". Hi Maria!

I think we had the most fabric. We are official fabric "ladie's of the evening"...if you catch my drift.

New friend Bonnie's skull pin cushions were a hit.

Even my little g-baby Adelina came by to see Nee.
We are planning on attending the next one. Teryle we missed you!

Palaeolagus? Nah, Just a Bronto-Pinkearasaurus

Instead of our weekly long bike ride, we decided it had been too long since we had gone on a long motorcycle ride. So Sunday morning we dressed out for nice but cool riding weather and headed to Alamo, Nv.

We enjoyed lunch at the Windmill Ridge Restaurant where we met the chief cook and bottle washer as well as our waitress (Alamo is a very small town). She hooked us up with a dozen "right out of the oven" cookies to take along on our trip home.

We then rode on to Alec's flag football game he has every Sunday. They didn't win this week, but the score was close.

Little Adelina doesn't enjoy barefeet on the grass. Too cute. Oh and guess who has her first tooth?

Adelina Quacks Us Up!

What a wonderful 10 days spent with our daughter Jordan here from Colorado Springs. She was able to visit with old friends as well as reacquaint herself with little Adelina.

We even squeezed in a turn around trip to Prescott just to surprise her Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Gary.

So we said our good-byes before she hit the Rocky Mountain High-ways. Jordan tells me I'm not allowed to cry when she leaves.

I'm happy though, hubby whispered in my ear before she left, "let's make a drive to Colorado in June for Jordan's birthday"...that man sure knows how to make me smile.
