Yes You Can-Can!

We enjoyed another wonderful class by "Carole the Ribbon Lady" last Friday.

My red-headed BFF Cheryl, our friend Tery and myself decorated stuffed can-can, ornamental legs. (I was surrounded by beautiful red heads!)

Cheryl was on a lacey, creative roll. I, myself, just didn't have a creative thought that morning (might have been the margarita the night before...lol).

Tery created a beautiful Victorian piece.

I hope to finish my project here at home. It needs a bit of vintage shabby chic...but, I think I need another margarita!

Do you think you can remember all that???

Keep your eye on the ball, head down, knees bent, little squat, feet placed firmly on the ground, feet in the position you wish the ball to go, twist in the waist, shoulders down, light grip on the club, fingers in the correct position, follow through and BREATHE!

I am sure I am missing something. Oh yes, put the club back into the bag and head to the clubhouse for a drink! lol.

Kel Kel and I begin lessons Monday morning...watch out Sam!

You gotta fight for your right, to par-ty!

After an intense "debriefing" on not to know the gender of baby "A" yesterday, we attended the "showing" of the soon to be blessed addition to our family.

A nervous Mommy and Daddy were happy to see that the "peanut" inside Mom's tummy wasn't a kitty or a monkey, only a perfect little angel with all ten fingers and ten toes and attitude!

One of the best days of my life! Can't wait for June!

Happy Valentine's Day Eve

What a beautiful surprise! and a day early!

My bestest hubby brought me red roses today as he works tomorrow and I am heading to Arizona for the week.

We have both been struggling with terrible head/chest colds for a few days now (and it's really annoying, can't get out for my daily run).

The only excitement lately is competing to see who can total the most sneezes (he wins). So a nice homemade beef soup was all we planned for our romantic, cough, cough dinner tonight.

Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends and family. Hope you each receive a warm fuzzy!

Stay romantic! xxxooo

Where are your children tonight?...

Ours will be in Bogota, Columbia.

Yes, Alec and Christine are off on another adventure, this one before their little bundle of joy arrives in June.

Backpacks packed and they arrived at the airport safely and on time with smiles on their faces.

Love to you both on your trip and a special kiss to little "A",
Mom
