Peek A Boo Papa!

Adelina, Mommy, Nonee nee and Papa went to watch her Daddy's flag football game yesterday in the wind. So cold when the sun went behind the clouds.
Adelina plays peek-a-boo with Papa.

What a precious little face behind that blankie. What a blessing!

We're Still Having Fun and You're Still the One...

My husband Sam and I, Monday, enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I told him to go play golf (no objection of course!) and I headed to Green Valley Ranch to meet up with my sister in law, Dorothy and brother in law Gary for a "french fry" lunch. They drove in from AZ to spend a couple of days with us.

Monday night Dorothy and Gary joined us along with my "bestie" Kel Kel and her boyfriend Brad at the Sonoma Cellar.

The surf and turf was excellent! We then went back to the house to a bottle of Dom Perignon, a gift to us from Kel Kel and my favorite Orange Julius cake from The Cupcakery (a gift from Sam...he knows how I love cake!!) Note: I'm savoring it with a sliver a day!!

Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

Sammy-
You're still the one that makes me laugh
Still the one that's my better half
You're still the one who makes me strong
Still the one I want to take along
We're still having fun and you're still the one!

Holding down the foot!

Baby Adelina and Daddy Alec love strained pears...oh and plums and sweet potatoes too! Notice how she holds onto her foot while she eats.

She's such a helper!

Just sharing this blog for Mommy Christine. Adelina will be here today for lunch time! Can't wait to smooch her face!

2012...It's Here!

(Our daughter Jordan Jovan...Jordan, "Precious" Jordan as her Uncle Gary named her.)

Sam and I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve with family in Prescott, AZ. We flew our daughter Jordan in from Colorado Springs for the weekend to celebrate a little bit of the holidays with us.

Christmas Day was spent with our most gracious new family members at our daughter in law's parents Chuck and Mary Jo's beautiful home. Thank you again!

(Nona Mary Jo and baby Adelina.)

A Happiest New Year at a party with "the neighbors" in Glendale, AZ while spending almost 2 weeks with my wonderful sister and brother in law, Dorothy and Gary.

New Year's Day was our last season Cardinal game. Great game! It's too bad they didn't play that well all year.

After the game we spent the evening with old friends (one friend I hadn't seen in 18 years) from my dispatching days with Bullhead City PD. What great memories we shared.

Yes, alot going on. Custom orders. New computer. Taxes (like to have them completed by mid February), Kelz Klozet and new listings. Rearranging my sewing room/office. Baby Adelina and her rolling, standing and non stop talking!

And at the end of this month my husband Sam and I celebrate our 30 year wedding anniversary. Family coming in to help us celebrate...can't wait!.

Frosted window panes...

We packed up the car and made it to beautiful Prescott delivering a Hobie Cat to a good friend along our way.

Cocktails at our favorite pub, Murphy's downtown, last night with our wonderful Prescott friends, The Hall's and the Dando's which makes our visits even more special.

A quick photo before we left with my Rosie...

Tonight is family night at Dorothy and Gary's beautiful Prescott retreat. Heading to the kitchen to make up the anise Pizelles and Sam to bake his famous peanut butter cookies.

It's that time of year when the world falls in love. Every song you hear seems to say "Merry Christmas may your New Year dreams come true"!

Job Secur-itree

When I decide to take a break from working on holiday orders, I try use my time wisely by making fun of my retired husband...lol. No, not really, not every break.

Yesterday, in the wind, as the leaves of our nectarine tree made it into the pool, my husband attempted to gather them up.

Once placed in the bag he turned around to another round of fallen leaves. He then quietly put down the rake and without a word, walked back into the house.

Thank goodness for retirement...now he has something to do on Saturday, lol.
