2014 BARON FOOTBALL "MOOSE" GOLF INVITATIONAL

Another year, another great turn out.  So much fun.  So many great memories being made and memories remembered.

Kristie the brains and beauty who makes this tournament possible.

And the braun, Mike.
We are thinking of you Michael.  You have wonderful, loving parents whom miss you everyday.

My drives were decent, but just not as far as the men.  Thankfully, I did have a short game this year!  Yay, new putter!!

Team mate Barry.

Team mate Robbie.

Karen didn't have the chance to practice again this year (her daughter is in high school cheer), but she was able to join us for the banquet.

My hubby, Sam.

Sam and I after a long day on the course...okay and a little Honey Jack Daniels!

Thank you Rob and Barry.  Love our team.  We work well together.
I do hope "the girls" and you know who you are...practice or take lessons this year so I can start an all girl team for next year.

Time Full-eyes!

Another year is about to pass in our little Granddaughter Adelina's (Hanny) life.  She will be 3 years old June 24th.

Being a Grandparent is an amazing, awareness journey.

Your Grandchildren can bring back the memories of the little things your children did when they were that age that you may not have had the patience nor the rest to do so.

You have the chance to really "look" at them.

This was Adelina almost a year ago starting her first day of Primary school.

And this is Adelina just a week ago on her last day.

She is growing up so fast.  She is so smart!  She has a kind and beautiful heart.  And what a wonderful "big siser"!

I love you Hanny,

Our Little Du-lump-plin'

Last evening we attended Adelina's Montessori Visions Primary Academic Celebration.  Another blog to follow...she was adorable.  In the meantime I wanted to put up some photos for my East and West coast family of little Aris.  Can't believe he is almost 7 weeks old!  He was a pretty sleepy guy while his sister sang up on stage.

Going...

Going...

Proud Papa and Bapo!

Gone!

We are so blessed with our beautiful Grandbabies!!  Makes our world a better place!

In Bapo's Arms

Bapo Sam is so happy to have another Grandchild.  Who would have thought??  ;o).  He still says Hanny is going to be the golfer!

His hands are like his Daddy's...mitts!

Happy big sister!  She was amazing last night helping us to bring her little brother into this world!

He's so light!  Little feather!

Aris has the "Buhler" family lips, just like his Daddy, Alec.  Gorgeous!

Aris with his big sister Adelina (Hanny)...she loves him so much already!  What a nice sister.

What an experience to have a home birth.  Mommy Christine was amazing.  Daddy Alec was so supportive of his wife helping her to deliver and even caught little Aris when he finally arrived.

Christine's sisters and Mom (Nona) were there for even more support.  Midwives and Doula were wonderful too!  Everything went smoothly and fast.

Ariston Alexander was born at 6:15 pm last night, weighing in at 6.14 lbs and measured 19.5 inches (just a half inch taller than Hanny).
Love, love, love and more love in our hearts.

Happy Easter!

Happy 80th Birthday Dad!

My Dad turned 80 years old on March 25th so our good friend Joanne who had always helped my Mom and continues to help my Dad planned a surprise birthday dinner the following weekend with 3 of his children and their spouses and 2 of his Grandchildren coming in to surprise him.

SIL Kelie, niece Justene, daughter Jordan and my brother Ron.

And was he surprised!  He couldn't stop the tears.

We enjoyed a nice, noisy dinner at the Antelope Golf Club's "Manzanita Grill"...it was prime rib night in ol' Prescott, AZ.

Joanne brought in a beautiful carrot cake with a magical candle that played "Happy Birthday"...it was pushed too far into the cake for Dad to hear it and he couldn't figure out "what was that noise", lol.

Justene, SIL Michelle, my youngest brother David and Jordan.

Sam and I.

Kelie and Ron.

We were sad that our sister Barbie couldn't make it in from Texas (she was in the middle of moving to Austin) but Dad sent her a blessing.
We wished all the family could have joined us.
It was a wonderful celebration.

Already a week has past...

I can't believe it has already been a week since I left my Aunt and cousins back in Sunrise, Florida and the beautiful weather.

I had such a great time.  Again, a 10 day coffee chat at the dining room table.  Weather was perfect for most of my trip and was able to take my daily walk.

A couple days at the pool and a day at the beach.

My Aunt Mary is my Mom's youngest sister.  She's pretty close to my age in years and in spirit.  Her children are as cool as she is!

Treated them to my "braided bread" with Aunt Mary's sauce.  Rachel...did you watch how I made it??  lol.

Poor Leah had allergies...All I could say to her was "Ah Leah" every time she sneezed.  Felt so bad for her.

Greg took our photo to compare to our 2011 photo shot...thanks Tommy for the pose!

Aunt Mary took a photo of us all including Greg the Cheesemaker and Paul the Oculus Rifter.  This trip I learned about "Tommy Lies" and Rachel's "SBF", lol.  Hope to see more of Leah next trip.

I love and miss you all so much.
Thank you for ALWAYS making me feel like one of the family when I visit.  And thank you "Lil Mama" and Rachel for entertaining me!
I hope someday I can repay all of you with a visit here in Las Vegas soon!  xxoo
